Rick was born in Hinsdale, Illinois and grew up in Wichita Falls,
Texas. Rick currently lives in Chicago with his wife. He graduated
from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1990 (B.A.
in Political Science/Economics) where he was a two-year member of
the Order of Gownsmen. He went on to graduate from DePaul University
College of Law in 1993 (J.D.).
Rick joined Macey & Aleman in 2000. He is an associate
in the Chicago office of Macey & Aleman. Rick has the distinction
of having personally advised thousands of consumer bankruptcy clients.
Presently, Rick has focused his practice on representing consumer
debtors in Bankruptcy and helps manage the Bankruptcy practice group.
Rick was named a partner at the end of 2003. Rick's partnership
was well-earned. Rick has exemplified outstanding professionalism,
dedication, intellectual insight, and a deep-rooted sense of ethics
coupled with an uncompromising committment to aggressive representation
of his clients.
